Man seriously injured in car accident

Dec. 10: An Amity, Missouri, man is hospitalized with serious injuries following a car crash on Monday.

The crash occurred shortly after 7 a.m., according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

A 29-year-old man driving south on Route N, a half-mile north of Stewartsville, Missouri, lost control of his vehicle while attempting to turn, according to the report. His car crossed the center line and went off the side of the road, striking several trees.

He was taken to Mosaic Life Care with serious injuries.
