WNBA’s DiJonai Carrington receives special gift for Marina Mabrey to improve her cooking skills

If there is anything we have learned about the WNBA stars currently preparing for the inaugural season of No rivalrya highly anticipated 3×3 women’s basketball league launching this month in Miami, they are having a lot of fun.

Di Jonai Carrington and connecticut sun Teammate Marina Mabrey is among the Florida players preparing for the league, and a funny exchange on social media led to another viral moment.

Mabrey, who has been living her best life in Miami, took to social media to prove that she “can finally cook” with the basics of salt, pepper, and avocado oil.

Carrington jokingly trolled Mabrey by responding: “BAHAHAHAHAHAHA buddy, I spit out my drink. What are you doing with these 3 things bro? I gotta get you straight.” and the WNBA Most Improved Player delivered.

Later that night, Carrington met Mabrey with a special delivery.

Carrington stopped at the practice court with a Louis V gift bag to give his gift to Mabrey. Inside the bag were the essential seasonings: Lawry’s, garlic salt, Tony Chachere’s Creole seasoning and more.

That’s good for a teammate.

DiJonai will suit up for Mist BC in Unrivaled alongside WNBA stars Breanna Stewart, Jewell Lloyd, Rickea Jackson and more.

Mabrey will take the court for Phantom BC alongside Sabrina Ionescu, Natasha Cloud, Satou Sabally and Britney Griner.

Unrivaled officially begins on Friday, January 17 with a doubleheader on TNT. The action continues all weekend with doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday, broadcast on truTV and TNT respectively.
