Isak to Manchester United?

Manchester United legend Teddy Sheringham believes joining the club “is still a highlight of anyone’s career”.

The former England star believes that Alexander Isak would consider leaving Newcastle for Old Trafford “without a doubt” and considers him the “perfect signing” for Rubén Amorim.

Sheringham told BoyleSports: “Manchester United remains a huge draw for any player and playing for the club remains a highlight of anyone’s career.

“Would Alexander Isak consider joining United if an offer came in? Without a doubt.

“I’m not saying a deal will be done, but he would be the perfect signing for United.

“He can lead the line and score goals and could be a flagship signing for the new regime.

“He is full of confidence right now and could lead by example.”
