Bulletin board material? Broncos star sends four-word message to Von Miller and Bills

Patrick Surtain II hopes to see Von Miller on Sunday when the buffalo bills host the Denver Broncos in Wildcard weekendbut he may have given his former teammate and the rest of the Buffalo roster some bulletin board material.

Miller, 35, showed Surtain the ropes when he first entered the league as a rookie in 2021. Surtain told media those days were memorable as Miller took him under his wing and taught him what it meant to be a Bronco.

Their time as teammates was short-lived as Miller was traded to the Los Angeles Rams later that year, but Surtain knows the veteran still holds Denver close to his heart. With a matchup against his former team just around the corner, Surtain noted that tomorrow’s matchup will be important for the situational pass rusher. In addition to noting that, Surtain also had a direct message for Miller and his teammates heading into the matchup.

“It’s going to be a great game for him” Surtain told the media this week.. “But I’ll tell you this now: It’s our time to shine. He had his time in his days, but now is our time. But it will be good to catch up and see it.”

Surtain does not lack confidence heading into Highmark Stadium. There’s no doubt that Surtain, a two-time first-team All-Pro, is among the league’s elite at cornerback, but time will tell if it really is Denver’s time to shine in the postseason.
