MINING LOOKS FOR A FG INTERVENTION ABOUT THE SUPPORT SITE SEVENESS – THE GUARDIAN NIGIA NEWS – NIGERIA AND WORLD NEWS

A mining and owner of Queensec Global Resources Ltd, Mrs. Queendalene Augustine, has asked the Federal Government to intervene in an ongoing dispute with the government of the State of ENUGU on the alleged illegal seizure of its mining site.

He also appealed to the Minister of Development of Solid Minerals, Dr. Dele Alake, to intervene and lead the state authorities to reveal their site.

Agustín, who revealed this in Abuja during a press conference, claimed that since he obtained two valid federal mining licenses, an assistant of the Governor of the State of Enugu, Sam Okoro, had persistently blocked him to start operations.

He accused Okoro of collaborating with another mining company, African Pit and Quarry (APQ), owned by Seun Odusanya, to illegally extract coal from his site without his consent.

“To my surprise, he organized a truck during the night using African and quarry team Of my colleagues, Mrs. Uchochukwu Agbachi, who followed him, informed the police, ”he said.

She revealed that the matter was reported to the Zonal Minas office in ENUGU. The Ministry also requested, whose intervention was barricada the site waiting for adequate delineation.

Agustín said: “Despite the intervention of the zonal office, Mr. Okoro went there, eliminated the barricades and erected four -meter posts on my site. When I visited the location, I was attacked by his thugs. My colleague, Mrs. Agbachi, was also arrested for her men for accusations of destroying government teams and has been arrested at the Enugu Correctional Center since December 11 “.

He asked the minister to control the Government of the State of Enugu, arguing that his actions were undermining the support of the federal government to small -scale mining.

He pointed out that his firm, Queensec Global Resources Ltd, has a five -year mining lease contract for sand, sandstone, lutita, clay and coal. It also requires compensation in the damage of another mining firm, African Pits and Quarry (APQ), for breach of contract.

In response to the accusations, Okoro denied any irregularity, insisting that Agustín had begun mining operations in an unveiled place.

He said he had been invited to verify, but had decreased repeatedly.
